Ashk, literally means a drop of tear. Ashk is not just a drop, its an emotion with a thousand feelings buried in its depth. Its an energy that flows more metaphorically than literally.
Mirror has always been the most mystical invention of mankind. It reflects what you see. It is not the external beauty or charm that it shows, it is the inner depths of one’s soul that it can unearth , but only to a learned and deserving candidate. Ashk represents that mirror which can unearth a thousand secrets, lying buried in my soul. Though it will reveal its true meaning only to the very few who dare to see beyond the obvious.
There are deeper meanings to ASHK than what meets the eye. I search myself every day, for night to wipe away the steps i left behind. No, pessimism in me, no optimism that i can’t hide, it’s me standing naked besides the reflection of my mind.
